Job Description
This position will support complex auditing and accounting functions to ensure appropriate operating funds for Division of Transportation Solutions (DOTS) - Traffic section projects. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring, retrieving fiscal data, compiling reports for Traffic operating, and processing transactions in First State Financial (FSF) system in compliance with state and federal laws, procedures and regulations. The position is responsible for paying and tracking invoices for large amounts of electricity accounts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Fiscal Associate II
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- Six months' experience in processing accounting, auditing or payroll transactions following applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
- Six months' experience in determining compliance of financial transactions with required documentation, computations, codes, signatures, rules or regulations.
- Six months’ experience in preparing financial reports such as combining and presenting financial data from multiple sources in an organized format.
- Possession of an Associate's degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
